The Yang-Tan Institute's research is designed and conducted by a multi-disciplinary team with backgrounds in vocational rehabilitation counseling, labor economics, human and organizational learning, sociology, special education, rehabilitation psychology, rehabilitation counseling, industrial organizational psychology, special education, law, and applied statistics. Our research emphasizes sound theory, the application of quantitative and qualitative research methods, participatory design and implementation of research in close collaboration with stakeholders to assure research relevance, and dissemination of research results in formats with wide usability.

Beyond our portfolio of sponsored research initiatives, the Yang-Tan Institute also provides research consultation in both the public and private sector.

Employment and Disability Research
